One time comment about the dramatic news unfolding this week
For eleven years, I have occasionally warned People of One Fire readers about the pervasive corruption occurring in the Southern Highlands due to the presence of gambling casinos and the organized crime that always seem to follow them. In retrospect, I should have screamed louder . . . for even I didn’t dream that a foreign power would be able to hack into our voting machines.
The Trojan Horse is well established within our walls. The problem is far more serious than some hackers on the other side of the world.
In 2006, I became acting president of the Georgia Trail of Tears Association, due to the previous president being killed in a strange one car accident and the current president being diagnosed with brain cancer. Three months in a row, black SUV’s and pickups with dark tinted windows and North Carolina tags tried to wreck my car as I was driving to TOTA meetings.
Many other strange things were happening. I stopped by my favorite barbecue restaurant in Cherokee, NC on the way back from inspecting the construction of two buildings at the Windy Gap Young Life Camp, near where I formerly lived in Weaverville, NC. All the Cherokee employees were gone. All their replacements were foreigners – mostly Slavs. The manager was Polish.
When getting ice cream for dessert, I heard the two pretty, young blond ladies, handling the dessert counter, speak to each other in Finnish. I only remembered enough Finnish to say, “Hei, mitä kuuluu?” (Hello, how are you?). That’s all I said. The girls freaked out. One raced back to the kitchen, then pointed me out to the Polish manager. The next think I knew, a big, burly Russian godfather pulled up a 1970s Lincoln Continental . . . followed by four Cherokee Tribal Police SWAT cars.
The cops, who didn’t appear to have a drop of Native American blood, initially talked to me rudely, as if I was some sort of criminal . . . They were about to handcuff and arrest me for “disorderly conduct,” until I flashed my Creek tribal and TOTA membership cards. “Is this how you treat the Creek president of the Georgia Trail of Tears Association?” The SWAT lieutenant then told me to finish my ice cream, get off the reservation and not come back.
Afterward a Colombian waitress came up to me and we chatted in Spanish. She told me that she was the only employee that was kept on when the Russians took over the restaurant. The two girls were Estonians, who entered the country with fake Russian passports. They worked as prostitutes at night at the casino hotels. Estonians speak a dialect of Finnish. Something like 1200 Slavic young people work each year in Cherokee with bogus student visas or even fake passports, while Native American reservations out west have 90% unemployment rates.
Perhaps, it should come as no surprise that the director of the Immigration and Naturalization Service field office for Western North Carolina was Cherokee and on the EBC tribal council. Most of her employees were Cherokees. I quit TOTA . . . the strange things stopped . . . and a consultant to the Eastern Band of Cherokees, who lived in Georgia, was quickly named the Georgia TOTA president.
A little later, the very popular Moderate Democrat Congressman for Western North Carolina announced that he was not running for re-election and moving his family out of the state. Apparently, those black SUV’s visited him too. All predominately Democratic counties were moved out of his congressional district. Right now, North Carolina is in big trouble with the US Justice Department for gerrymandering Congressional districts.
In 2008, a member of POOF, who was a Choctaw and an ordained Methodist minister, called me with ominous information. She worked at the World Headquarters of the Methodist Church at Lake Junaluska, NC. While house-hunting, she had entered the wrong door of what appeared to be a small real estate office on I-40 in Canton, NC. The little office was actually attached to a metal warehouse. Finding the front door locked, she walked into the warehouse and was astounded to see a room full of TV monitors, exotic electronic devices and about 40 men and women speaking Russian! A security guard quickly pulled his pistol and ordered out of the building.
A couple of weeks later, I drove up to the building. It was bristling with with antennas and satellite dishes. I saw a black SUV and black pickup parked outside. It was basically a branch office of whatever the KGB is called now . . . blatantly operating next to a major interstate.
During my 2010 camping journey through Western North Carolina, I noticed radical changes for the worse, since the decade that I had lived in that region. All the towns, other than Cherokee, NC were in terrible economic condition. Families were not moving there anymore and many of those there, were trying to get out. Organized crime had its tentacles in all levels of government . . . especially federal government agencies located in the region.
In communities such as Atlantic City, NJ and Cherokee, NC, the establishment of gambling casinos had ushered in organized crime. Organized crime eventually suffocates all the other communities in its territory. Most of Atlantic City is a slum now. However, until that Choctaw minister called me, I didn’t realize that a special brand of organized crime provides a base for foreign governments to corrupt and manipulate our American way of life.
Many years ago, when I was doing chores in Scandinavia that I couldn’t talk about for 20 years, the main source for intel on the Soviet government obtained by America’s intelligence agencies was Russian organized crime. Back then most of the crime lords in the Soviet Union were not ethnic Russians . . . mainly Jewish, Ukrainian, Georgian, Belorussian and Armenian. As a result, the Russian Mafia also has a strong presence in Israel and provided us major intel on the activities of Islamic terrorists. The intel that told us of a PLO terrorist cell, operating in my apartment building in Landskrona, Sweden, came from Russian Jews in Israel. Russian sailors, working for organized crime, would drop off intel and pick up envelopes of money in Copenhagan. Apparently, somewhere along the line, Russian organized crime was allowed to set up shop in the United States . . . and then switched sides.
Well . . . things are such a mess now, I cannot offer a solution. I can with good conscience, however, say, “I told you so.”
